Sony's defective rate: PlayStation 4

Following the recent launch of the PS4 by Sony, the purchase rate of the console right now out there in the market is a really high one. Let's just say that 60% of the gaming community preferrers the PS4 rather than any other gaming console (Xbox One). Now, Sony claims that the defective rate of the PS4's that ship out to the buyers is 0.004. It may look like a small number, but believe me pals, its a big one. It acts like a 10%. Now, what is a defective thingy. Defective products are the ones that have certain problems with either the software or hardware (mainly hardware) when they are shipped out of the particular producer. It's really a hard task to avoid defective products and is common in smartphone's, cameras and other electronic products.
Now this is because of the higher demand rate for the PS4.

Known problems -
There are tons of problems with the defective ones. Like a partial-working DualShock controller.
On the other hand, the most common problem is with the HDMI connection. Certain users have/are going through a HDMI connection problem. Now, this is not a problem with the wire but with the PS4's HDMI board.

How to fix it -
The best way to repair a defective PS4 is phone up Sony and have them come over and pick up the piece and repair it. The cost of the repair should pretty much be free. On the other hand, if you have a 3rd party repairer close to you whom you trust, you can hop in on and ask them.

Let us know what you guys think about the defective rate. If you went through any problems, do make sure to leave them down below in the comments.

Thank you for all your time.
