Why KitKat is taking time to hit your device

You must be holding a pretty high-end android smartphone in your hand right now and a pretty fuzzy question on your mind - Why don't I have a KitKat update. Well, the answer to that question is like a puzzle but I'll try to explain just. Let's just go back to the launch. When Google rolled out KitKat, there was this hype, that surrounded it. People were eager, excited and wanted to know what it had in store. The final dot to the equation traces back to the device.
It was made exclusive for the Nexus 5. No other device had it. It was probably the major reason millions took the Nexus into consideration. Now, who has part of the numbers of the sales of the device? Google, that's right. Even though you may see a LG logo back there, LG just provides the components for Google to assemble and push out to the market. Google wanted to make some few extra bucks off the Nexus 5 and hence made it unique with its KitKat hype. Well that basically is the final answer. To increase the stocks of the Nexus 5. And it did work. But no worries, the stocks won't be up for longs. KitKat is likely to hit your screen.

Thank you for your time.
