Xperia devices to receive Android KitKat update

Sony has made a bold move by stating out that they will be rolling over the KitKat update to most of the Xperia devices. KitKat, which came out months ago, will finally be available in the hands of consumers. Whether the version will be stock or coated with Sony's custom one, remains unknown. But for now, the good news is that KitKat will hit out on for Xperia devices.

The following devices have been listed by Sony (Potential for others too) -
Xperia Z, Xperia ZL, Xperia ZR, and Xperia Tablet Z. 


The launch date listed by Sony is all the way to May 2014. The approx date is unknown.

But Xperia users, cheer up and wait for May, you will be receiving a KitKat update soon.
