LG working on bendable displays

It turns out, producing general smartphones isn't enough for LG, the company is trying to do more by stating that it has plans to create and roll out displays that can roll, bend and fold up with the help of plastic OLED technology. LG recently announced that by next year, it could launch out the first "bending" smartphone ever.

LG also stated that by 2017, they hope to use P-OLED panels to be able to produce foldable displays.

It's definitely no secrete that LG is working on something different. But will that 'different' really turn out to be a thing?
Curved displays can also be implemented on smartwatches, so LG's probably done some brainstorming here.

The LG G Flex was one of the first phones to have a curved display, the device did receive quite an impressive reception. Recent rumors claim that LG is actively working on a G Flex 2, so they might show off their new technology 'here'.

Let us know what you guys think about bendable displays and screens.
