As most of you know that Micromax is indeed working on a new flagship the Canvas Knight which will compete with other smartphones in the market. The company tweeted so about the smartphone along with a teaser trailer. This is a blog post dedicated to the upcoming flagship with everything about what we know so far.
The specs are anticipated to be 'high-end' so let's start off with those
Build and Dimensions -
There is no clarification on the dimensions of the device just yet. (Update soon)
Display -
The smartphone will carry an IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen with 16 million colors.
Other than that, it is a full 1080x1920 HD display with a 5.0 inch area.
The pixel density is claimed to be 441 ppi.
Based on the display, it really brings out the image that the device will need a powerful battery.
Battery -
The battery of the Knight is 2350 mAh which is not much but we'll just have to wait and see.
Camera -
The primary camera is a 16 MP one with LED flash and autofocus.
Other features include touchfocus, Geo tagging and face detection.
It will shoot videos in a full HD 1080p@30fps resolution.
The secondary camera is 5 MP
Internals -
The device will house an Octa core processor clocked at 2.0 GHz and will ship with a fresh version of 4.2.2 JellyBean.
*Expected update to KitKat.
Memory -
The Knight will come in on with 2 gigs of RAM and a 32 GB variant.
Note - these specs are not a 100% accurate.
Other than that, the release date is set for sometime in Q2 2014.
