iOS 8.1.3: What's New

Apple device software updates always came out in big packs. Downloads of iOS updates, let alone 8, have always been big. Turns out Apple has finally made some change. The new update for iOS 8[1.3] is just about 245 MB. This makes updating your device even simpler and faster. Couple of other changes and improvements have been added too.

  • There previously was a bug that prevented certain apps from showing up in spotlight search, that's now fixed.
  • Bug which prevented users from using their Apple ID password with the messages app (possibly other apps too) is fixed.
  • A new configuration option for education standardized testing has been added.
  • Multitasking bugs have been fixed.
  • Several other tweaks and tinkers have been implemented.
To update your device, head on over to Settings-General-Software Update and boom! Do let us know what you guys think about the update.
