Turns out, Microsoft has new plans in store for Windows 10. They're finally planning to move away from the 'legendary' Internet Explorer to something new. A new software, codenamed Spartan. Spartan is in no way Internet Explorer 12, instead they plan to bring out a browser thats "more like Chrome and Firefox". ZDNet reported that IE isn't completely eliminated though, IE 11 will still ship out with Windows 10 for backward compatibility reasons. Spartan will continue to use the same engines, and will definitely consist of new visuals and possibly additions like extensions. Microsoft Windows 10 will ship out with two browsers, IE 11 and Spartan. The software will also have Cortana - Microsofts digital assistant integrated into the browser to help you get the job done. It's also reported that Spartan will be a Windows Store App which you can download over different platforms such as PC's, Tablets & Smartphones.
Microsoft is holding up an event on the 21st of January, so make sure you stay tuned to Pocket to know more.
That's all for now guys, do let us know what you guys think about Spartan, and is Microsoft pushing themselves too far?
